The first Olympic in Asia was held in Tokyo, 1964 and the it is going to be the only Asian city which arrange the Summer Olympic two times. After the second world war the importance of Asia is gradually increasing in every sector like economy, industry and culture. Summer Olympic was held in Asia for three times 1964 in Tokyo, 1988 in Seoul and 2008 in Beijing. It was the fourth time summer Olympic in Asia. But Tokyo 2020 is going to face a great threat due to Corona virus breakout. Corona Virus (COVID-19) was started to spread from China in the last of 2019 and already spread to many countries. Now it is a big confusion that the Tokyo, 2020 will be held or not. Due to the COVID-19 fear there is a great question about the arrangement of Tokyo,2020. Miraitowa is the official mascot of Tokyo, 2020. If there is a chance of change of the Host city, but it is impossible to start Olympic to a new host city. So, there is a chance of cancellation of the Tokyo, 2020. Even Beijing, 2022, the upcoming winter Olympic is also facing a uncertainty.
It should be kept in mind that Olympic is just not a game. It is a mega event and its effect to economy is more than you think. After WW2, Japan was almost demolished. But they started to grow again. After 1960s it again became one of the largest economy. Its technology and production boomed to extreme level. But all of this story spread to the world after Tokyo, 1964. Then the South Korean growth was started. After arranging Seoul,1988 the South Korea proved themselves as a developed nation. Again look for the China. It started to capture world trade and became a great exporter country in 1990s and after 2000s its export and growth of economy was unbelievable. Through 2008 Beijing Olympic, China established themselves as one of the superpower of the world. Olympic is the largest marketing event for the Host countries to show their ability.
Till now the Japanese and even the people of the world are looking at the event. Everybody are eagerly waiting for the good news. Now its just waiting.....
